Fitting Finger Guard

The finger guard reduces the risk of the user's fingers moving too close to the needle during sewing, resulting in injury.

  1. Raise the presser foot.
  2. Remove the presser foot.
  3. Loosen the screw on the presser foot holder and remove the presser foot holder.
  5. Attach the finger guard to the screw.
  7. Hold the presser foot holder by the presser foot bar and screw it in using the screw.
  9. Fit the presser foot sole.
  11. Check whether the finger guard is aligned parallel to the presser foot sole.
  12. If necessary, loosen the screw to align the finger guard.
