Stitch Width
The recommended stitch width is indicated for each stitch. You can modify the stitch width for most stitches, alphabets and buttonholes. The stitch width depends on the needle used, the presser foot and the stitch plate.
The machine checks the compatibility between the needle, presser foot, stitch plate and stitch. To do this, click the icon Presser Foot
in the status bar to select the attached presser foot and the attached needle. If the stitch cannot be sewn with the selected presser foot, the selected needle, and the mounted stitch plate, the stitch will be displayed in red.
Tip
You can also modify the stitch width during sewing with the Stitch Width button.
