Bobbin Winding

The thread path for winding the bobbin thread is marked with arrows on the machine.

  1. Place the empty bobbin on the bobbin winding unit.
  3. Place a felt pad, a spool and a spool cap on the vertical spool pin.
  5. Hold the thread on the left and the right, and pull it straight from the front to the back underneath the thread guide eyelet.
  7. Guide the thread around the bobbin winder pre-tension in the direction of the arrow.
  9. Pull the thread end through the threading hole on the upper side of the bobbin.
  11. Hold the end of the thread tightly with one hand. Push the bobbin to the right-hand position.
  13. Use the button Start/Stop to start and stop the winding process after just a few turns, so that the thread is tightly wound onto the bobbin.
  14. Cut the end of the thread above the inner hole.
  15. To continue winding process, press the button Start/Stop.
  16. To stop the winding process, press the button Start/Stop.
  17. Move the bobbin to the left to its starting position.
  19. Remove the bobbin and cut the thread using the thread cutter.
