Feed Dog
The feed dog moves the fabric under the presser foot. To ensure that the fabric is fed evenly, the presser foot must be positioned horizontally. To compensate for the seam height, you can place one or more height compensation plates behind or in front of the needle under the presser foot as required.
The feed dog can be lowered for applications in which the fabric is to be guided freely.
- To lower the feed dog, slide the lever Feed Dog Up/Down to the left.
- To raise the feed dog, slide the lever Feed Dog Up/Down to the right.
- The feed dog is fully raised after sewing the first stitch.
