Raising/Lowering the Presser Foot

By raising the presser foot, you can place or remove the sewing project under the presser foot.

  1. To raise the presser foot, pull the presser foot lifter lever up until it clicks into place.
  2. The thread tensions are released.
  3. The feed dog remains in the sewing position.
  5. To lower the presser foot, push the presser foot lifter lever down.
  6. The machine is ready for sewing.
  7. The thread tension is active.
