How to Sew over a Corner

  1. Set the machine for a 2-, 3- or 4-Thread Overlock.
  2. Sew along the edge of the fabric beyond the corner.
  3. Start a new edge and sew over the previously sewn edge.

How to Clip a Corner

  1. Trim the seam allowance for the cutting width of the following corner in the sewing direction (presser foot length).
  3. First sew the edge up to the cut corner.
  4. Sew one stitch beyond the fabric edge and stop.
  5. The needles are in the top position.
  6. Raise the presser foot.
  7. Move the rolled hem selection lever to position R.
  8. The thread loops are loosened from the stitch finger.
  9. Turn the fabric counterclockwise.
  10. The trimmed edge of the fabric is in the sewing direction under the presser foot.
  11. Move the rolled hem selection lever to position O.
  12. Pierce the needle into the fabric.
  13. Pull back and tighten loose threads of the thread spools on the spool holder.
  14. Lower the presser foot and continue sewing.
