Sewing in the Overlock Chain at the End of the Seam

  1. At the end of the seam, sew one stitch over the fabric edge.
  2. Raise the needle.
  3. Raise the presser foot.
  4. Pull the fabric a bit backwards.
  5. Turn the fabric so that the wrong side points upwards.
  6. Place the fabric beneath the presser foot so that the needles pierce the fabric at the first stitch.
  7. Lower the presser foot.
  8. Sew approx. 1.5 - 2.5 cm over the thread chain and make sure that the existing thread chain is not cut.
  9. Finish the seam by sewing off the edge.
