Setting the Upper Looper On/Off

Activating the Upper Looper

    Prerequisite:

  1. Threader cover is opened.
  1. Set the Upper Looper On/Off to the right.
  2. Turn the handwheel until the upper looper is activated.
  3. Upper looper is activated.
  5. Attach the knife cover insert. Removing/attaching the knife cover insert

Deactivating the Upper Looper

    Prerequisite:

  1. The threader cover is opened.
  2. The upper looper converter is hooked out. Upper looper converter hooked in/hooked out
  3. The upper looper is in lowest position.
  1. Se the Upper Looper On/Off to the left.
  2. The upper looper is deactivated.
  4. Attach the coverstitch insert. Removing/attaching the coverstitch insert
