3-Thread Flatlock Narrow (RN)
Upper looper thread (blue) extends over the fabric edge towards the bottom.
- Reduce the RN thread tension (green).
- Increase the UL thread tension (blue).
Upper looper thread (blue) doesn't reach the fabric edge.
- Reduce the UL thread tension (blue).
- Increase the RN thread tension (green).
Lower looper thread (red) not straight along the fabric edge.
- Increase the LL thread tension (red).
- Reduce the RN thread tension (green).
- Reduce the UL thread tension (blue).
The seam puckers. Lower looper thread (red) too tight.
- Reduce the LL thread tension (red).
Needle thread (green) doesn't reach the fabric edge.
- Reduce the RN thread tension (green).
- Increase the UL thread tension (blue).
- Increase the LL thread tension (red).
Needle thread (green) extends over the fabric edge to the top.
- Reduce the UL thread tension (blue).
- Increase the RN thread tension (green).
The fabric edge forms a tunnel or rolls up.
- Reduce the RN thread tension (green).
- Reduce the UL thread tension (blue).
- Increase the Micro Thread Control (mtc)
- Reduce the cutting width CW.
- Check the rolled hem lever N/R position.
