2-Thread Chainstitch (RC)

The needle thread (yellow) forms loops on bottom side of the fabric.

  1. Increase RC-Thread tension (yellow).
  2. Check threading path.

Chain looper (purple) thread visible on top side of fabric.

  1. Reduce RC-Thread tension (yellow).

The seam puckers.

  1. Reduce RC-Thread tension (yellow).
  2. Reduce the CL thread tension (purple).
  3. Set the differential feed between 1 and 0.6 (Stretching).
  4. Reduce the stitch length SL.

The chain looper (purple) thread loose on the bottom side of fabric.

  1. Increase the CL thread tension (purple).
  2. Check threading path.
