Attaching the Stitch Plate (CutWork/Straight)

The straight/cutwork stitch plate has a small hole in the needle area. The stitch formation (thread knotting of upper and bobbin thread) is thus optimized. This results in a more beautiful stitch appearance.

  1. Switch the machine off and disconnect it from the power supply system.
  2. Remove the needle.
  3. Remove the presser foot.
  4. Lower the feed dog and remove the bobbin cover.
  5. Remove the screws of the stitch plate with the screwdriver.
  6. Remove the stitch plate.
  8. Remove the standard bobbin case.
  10. To achieve optimum embroidery results, use the high thread tension bobbin case. Make sure that the markings of the bobbin case and the stitch plate are aligned identically.
  13. Exchange t he Straight Stitch/CutWork Stitch Plate and tighten the screws with the screwdriver.
