Threading the Twin Needle

To thread a twin needle, thread both threads one after the other according to the instructions for the single needle. Start with the left needle. Threading the Single Needle

Note the following differences:

  1. Place one felt pad each on the vertical and the horizontal spool pin.
  2. Place the spool for the left needle on the vertical spool pin and the spool for the right needle on the horizontal spool pin.
  3. Guide both upper threads up to the thread tension disc in the same way as threading the single needle.
  4. At the thread tension disc, guide the thread for the left needle down the left and the thread for the right needle down the right of the thread tension disc.
  5. Guide the threads up to the needle in the same way as threading the single needle.
  6. Thread both needles by hand.
