Cleaning/Oiling the Bobbin Case

Risk of injury near the needle and the hook.

  1. Switch off the machine and disconnect it from the power supply.
  1. Remove the presser foot sole and the needle . Changing the Presser Foot Sole, Changing the Needle
  2. Remove the stitch plate. Changing the Stitch Plate
  3. Remove the bobbin from the bobbin case.
  4. Clean the bobbin case and the hook with a brush.
  6. Insert the bobbin case into the hook.
  8. Oil the felt of the bobbin case.
  9. Clean the feed dog with a brush.
  11. Fit the stitch plate.
  12. Fit the needle and presser foot.
