To ensure that your machine remains in perfect working order over the long term, bernette recommends regular maintenance and care.

The maintenance intervals depend largely on the following factors:

  1. Wipe down the surface of the machine and screen with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth.

Checking the Machine

Regularly, depending on usage of the machine.

  1. Check the machine for external damage.
  2. In case of damage, contact your BERNINA dealer.

Oiling the Needle Bar

  • If the machine is used frequently, every 6 months.
  • After a longer downtime of the machine.
  • If unusual noises are heard in the area around the needle bar.

As soon as a new version is available.
